From its appearance in 2003, our version of the classic effect by Ibanez has been one of our most succesful pedals.
There are some particularities to our Overdrive+ when we compare it to an original 808. It has a more grainy texture in the tone that makes the effect a little more apparent. Especially with a cranked amp, the original seems to make dynamics dissapear and things get rounded off too much. The Overdrive+ keeps all the classic flavour and sweetness but with a more kick, not much, but just enough. |
